Yay for Spidey!
So I was reading about Spiderman 3 today ... and it sounds as though Venom is actually going to be in it! When I first saw the trailer I figured they were setting it up for Venom to appear in No. 4 ... but apparently there were some shots with Venom in them shown at Comic-Con.
So ... freaking sweet!!!!
That's probably what just about every Spiderman fan is saying since Venom is so damn popular. And having Sandman in it will be pretty cool as well. I'm waiting to see what they do about possibly Hobgoblin/Green Goblin II or whatever you would like to call Harry Osborn. Then again, speculation is he might not even become a villain within the universe of the Spiderman movies.
Now, I imagine most of the movie will consist of Spiderman wrestling for control with the symbiote, with Venom appearing toward the end. And probably Sandman will give Spidey shit throughout the movie.
Then, they are throwing Gwen Stacy into the movie as well! Awww ... how sweet.
Anyway, I think that out of the huge amount of superhero movies that have come out lately, so far the Spiderman series has done the best job. It looks like this one will not dissapoint either. I am slightly worried that they might be trying to pack way too much into one movie though, but still excited!
