1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Drank in excess. Fucked up a semester of school.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any resolutions last year, but this year Be a better person, get in shape, and be a better friend to those I'm close to.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I'm pretty sure no one gave birth close to me. I would have been a little peeved. My mom's co-worker gave birth however.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Rick James. My best cocaine connection.

5. What countries did you visit?
None this year. Boring year in the life of Carl.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
Completion

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 06. First day of work, and the day I met you.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I refrained from killing people who said/did stupid things.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably the bad grades thing. Or wrecking my sisters car.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I was sick twice during school, and then my Aunt got me sick on Christmas.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
For Myself: Unlimited Rental membership at blockbuster
For Others: Probably my sisters birthday gift. She loved it.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Josh's, you don't know him.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My own.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, Entertainment, More Entertainment.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My last day of work. hah.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Anything by Lil' John.

Older or Wiser:Some say wisdom comes with age, so both.

Studying.

Sleeping.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With family, as always.

21. How will you be spending New Years Eve?
Alone, as always. Just this time I was a little drunk.

Yup.

Zero

24. What was your favorite TV program?
The OC was damn good this season.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hard to say. I don't know who I hated this time last year.

26. What was the best book you read?
Naked Pictures of Famous People by John Stewart, and Ruminations on College Life by Aaron Karo.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
That every Classic Rock song is either about Love, Sex, or Drugs.

28. What did you want and get?
A Scarf.

29. What did you want and not get?
Somebody to love.

30. What was your favorite film(s) of this year?
"Saw" was good. "I <3 Huckabees" was existentially amazing.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Avoided being thrown in the fountain, as is tradition at FSU. Ate at Mori's Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar with my sister and roommates. Turned 19.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hell if I know, so far my life has just gone with the flow.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Shirts from Hot Topic, jeans, sneakers.

34. What kept you sane?
Sleeping, the dream world helps put a perspective on reality for me.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Fancy as in think was attractive, or think was a good actor? Good actor would be Clint Eastwood, can't get enough of his old westerns.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Probably the poisoning of the Russian guy.

37. Who did (do) you miss?
My friends back home in Orlando. My parents.

38. Who were the best new person/people you met?
Probably Shannon. Don't know jack shit about her besides her first name. She's one of the nicest people I've met.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Flowers and Beads are one thing.
