photography
my teacher said i had good use of light in my photos! gleee!! he was all like "youve got some good stuff going on here" and he commented on one photo i took where there's an orb of light behind the object and he was like "yeah, this evokes almost a spirtual sense here" and was like "hot dog im awesome!" granted when i took the photos and when i developed them i was all like "these suck" but i was glad to see that he liked them ^.^ and he gave a lot of them more of a chance than I did, so i might be developing more of them than I had planned.
i think weird things all the time, right? here are some of the lasted "huh.." thoughts:
- im glad we've figured out that the moon is in an orbit. if i had lived during a time when we didn't know that, i would probably think that this huge plate was headed RIGHT TOWARDS EARTH! and it would eventually collide killing us all. and i would cry when i saw the moon and run around telling people to RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! so, mad props to figuring that out
- its too bad death isnt a theory. in much the same way that gravity is a theory, but widely accepted as a fact. that way there could be several people who were extremist going around like "what? im not going to die" then i took it a bit too far when i started to think about the extreme non-believers and when they did die how it would be slightly humorous, like, what do you right on those tombstones? "believed death was a false theory, liked to procrastinate, lived no real life" it would be that much easier to ignore death as a possibility if we knew it as a theory. get what im saying? cool, me neither. it also might make for some humorous threats "im going to kill you" "go ahead! death is just a theory anyway!"
