Writers Block.

She sat at the computer, frustrated. Looking at the crumpled paper and pens strewn throughout the room. Where was her guitar? Oh, there it was. It's black side gleaming,  buried beneath soft crumpled white trash. Destruction, she looked around and all she saw was destruction. Of her work, of her passion, of her music and therefore her life. She turned back to the computer and typed destruction on the white screen glaring at her. Wow. Yay. Now it had one tiny black word, to drown in all the empty whiteness. She hated writers block, those were her worse days..

She stood, tired of exhausting her brain to limits filled with emptiness. True she could write, it's not that she couldn't think of anything to write, she could write pages and pages and it might even sound good. Her way with words covering up the fact that it lacked true emotion. And there that was the problem, it lacked emotion. And right now she had none to lend it, cuz right now she lacked emotion too. Sigh. Time for another cup of coffee.

She poured the black steaming mess in a cup, drank a sip, bleh. No matter what she added to the coffee it never tasted quite..good. She needed Colton. He made the best coffee. Sighh. But she had treated her manager and best friend to a month in Tahiti. And there was no way in hell he'd would even be answering his phone right now. It was night there. He was probably getting laid. She shook her head and chuckled, remebering how he'd begged her to come with him, "think of all the girls" he'd said. "Your missing out man." But she's just smiled and said she needed to work on the album. He sighed. Alright. "It's probably better anyway, you always steal all my women anyway, with your unfair advantage." She'd just smiled and laughed and shook her head, "Go Colton, go get fucked."

As she put the cup of coffee down, grimicing as the last sip confimed her decision. It was weird, she admited, to have not gone with him. She and Colton went everywhere together, he was her best friend and she never missed out on one of their adventures, especially not one that involved girls. Oh well, she sighed. She'd have a chance next time, and who knows maybe she'd even hit up the club tonight since she wasn't getting any work done anyway. She'd been working for weeks straight. Maybe it was time she took a break. It was definitely time for a break right now anyway and she relished the chance to enjoy a good cup of coffee, for the first time in a week and a half. She grabbed her leather jacket, and walked out her apartment door thinking, there's a really nice new place down the street she'd been dying to try...
