Okay Friday was a blast. Running home to grab a couple things such as a bunch of shoes and a couple books. Than jumpinging into the car and driving off to Pueblo. My mom was upset that I wasn't home earlier but everything worked out okay. There was a huge traffic jam outside the springs and we where afraid that we wouldn't make it. We checked into our hotel and than we took everything upstairs to our room and jumped back into the car. My mom didn't think she could make it till 11 o'clock without eating something so while getting lost on our way to the fair we stopped at Toco Bell and asked for more directions which got us even farther off track. We finally found the parking lot where the bus took people to the fair for free but there was a huge long line. It was very frustrating! We finally get on a bus and than it takes what seems like forever to get to the fair. We finally get there buy our tickets and we are on our way. My mom and I briskly walked back to the arena area where the rodeo and concert was happening. We finally found our seats and sat down to enjoy the rodeo. It was quite interesting actually. It was strange because every time I felt that someone had done a good job the judges gave them a low score. The Rodeo clown was funny though. I saw the Budweiser horses they are so pretty, I love Clydesdale's. Than the concert started. YEA!!!! Oh my gosh I haven't ever had so much fun. Jo Dee Messina was awsome. She looked so skiny and so healthy. I really had fun. I bought a picture with her signature on it and a key chain. I love seeing her in concert and I sang along to every song but two. She sang every song that I wanted to hear. I was upset though because she hadn't sang Rain and she had already said that she was done but she came back out and sang Rain and Burn, two really good songs. The only sad thing was she was on the grandstand which was far away from the seats because there was the rodeo arena between the seats and her but it didn't upset me. They had her on a screen so that the people in the stands could see. It was so much fun. Afterwords my mom and I went back to where the horses where and I got to pet them. The draft horses are so big. OH MY GOSH!!!! It's head was huge. They are so pretty though. I got to pet a cow and a mule. I had fun. The animals are all so calm. I also had a conversation with a cow. He was very talkative, and very nice.

So that was my weekend mainly yesterday we went and say CSU at Pueblo. Didn't really like it. Than we went to Culver's best custered ever!!!! Their rootbeer is the best too!!!! Than we came home where we watched Shout(good movie) and than talked and watched Chocolate untill midnight. When my dad came home from work. Than my mom and I ran upstairs to bed before he could ask any questions. And than today I selpt until 11 o'clock. Fun times. So that has been it so far. Oh but I must put in a Jo Dee song....

NOT GOING DOWN

I woke up today with a headache
More bills to pay than a corporation
Hey, when will it end
My mirror says I could use a break
An easy day, some appreciation
Hey how 'bout a friend
When days like these start to fall in on me
I gotta face my reflection and say...hey

Chorus:
Been burned by the fire
Been stuck under water
Strung up on a wire and still the world goes around
Been tossed like a free throw
Knocked out when the wind blows
Pull the curtain on the hurtin'
'Cause I'm not going down
(I'm not going down no no)
Inside of me is the only
Highway that leads to a true freedom
Holding out it's hand
I close my eyes and it's all right
The sun will shine on a new horizon
Just around the bend
Days like these bring out the strength in me
So I can face my reflection and say...

Repeat chorus

I still get dizzy and frantic, lonely and paniced
But next time I won't let it beat me, no
I can see clearly, I know who I am
And that's how I know I've begun living

Repeat chorus (out)

Okay maybe two Jo Dee Songs

BYE BYE

Boy you sure look good there standin' in the doorway in the sunset light
Maybe I read you wrong thinkin' you could be my Mr. Right
I was puttin' my heart and soul on the line
Said you needed some time, just a little more time to make up your mind
Well it's been long enough
Time is up

Bye bye love, I'll catch you later
Got a lead foot down on my accelerator and the rearview mirror torn off
I ain't never lookin' back. And that's a fact.
I've tried all I can imagine
I've begged and pleaded in true lover's fashion
I've got pride, I'm takin' it for a ride
Bye bye, bye bye my baby, bye bye

Don't think all those tears are gonna hold me here like they've done before
You'll find what's left of us in a cloud of dust on highway 4
Baby what did you expect me to do
Just sit around and wait on you
Well I'm through watchin' you just skate around the truth
And I know it sounds trite
I've seen the light

Bye bye love, I'll catch you later
Got a lead foot down on my accelerator and the rearview mirror torn off
'Cause I ain't never lookin' back, and that's a fact.
I've tried all I can imagine
I've begged and pleaded in true lover's fashion
I've got pride, I'm takin' it for a ride
Bye bye, bye bye my baby, bye bye

I'd lost the game I guess
I did my best to win the part
Now I'm leavin' here with what's left of my heart.
Bye bye, I'll catch you later
Got a lead foot down on my accelerator and the rearview mirror torn off
'Cause I ain't never lookin' back.
You can count on that.
I've tried all I can imagine
I've begged and pleaded in true lover's fashion
I've got pride, I'm takin' it for a ride
Bye bye, bye bye my baby, bye bye

Bye bye
Ooh baby
Oh oh
Bye bye, bye bye my baby, bye bye
