This is one my pets, peeve...
Alright, enough is enough. I am fed up with some Red Sox ‘fans’. Isn’t it the duty, oath, and official pledge of a Red Sox fan to stick with the team through thick and thin?! Then where the hell are some of you? I went out to dinner last night and there were several jibes at what I thought to be one of the best games we have seen in two weeks! Yes, it did not end with a victory yet what does that have to do with anything for pete’s sake! Good golly miss molly why are we a society determined to not be satisfied until we see the Red Sox win every single game? Not to get a bit cliché, but let’s face it - admit it - that would certainly not be a season full of torture, euphoria, excitement, or reverie. It would be bland, stale, cheap, materialistic, and quite Yankee-like. All cock-mockery aside. The Red Sox are still 7 games ahead of the Yanks, 11 games ahead of Toronto 14 games ahead of Baltimore and 18 games ahead of Tampa Bay! At the end of the day people, what do you have to complain about? Why not complain when they’re seven games behind, even then…love your team. Yes, this may upset some of you but as you well know my darlings, I don’t give a damn! To me, there is little worse this summer than sitting at a bar and some prick with an I-Phone starts complaining in the 3rd that the Sox are losing. Eat some dirty peanuts punk, drink a wine cooler, and pipe it! That is all myspaceing amigos….keep the peace and as always….
