The Greatest Generation was a product of the Great Depression, growing up amidst two wars, and a nation falling apart with sky high unemployment and government deficits. Much of that is credited to the leadership of FDR and Truman through 1940s and 50s.
Today we find ourselves growing up in the Great Recession, amidst two wars, and a nation falling apart with sky high unemployment and government deficits. And now I'm left to wonder; who are our leaders who will bring us out of these times better than when we went into them. And how will our generation be thought of in the annals of history?
