Fighting Cancer: Running for Dollars
For those of you who don't know, a little less than a month from today is the anniversary of when my maternal grandmother passed away from brain cancer. She was a big part of my life growing up, especially when my family fell on hard times during my parent's separation and divorce, and she was the keystone of our family for all the years she was alive.
In her memory, I'm once again participating in the American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life at UCLA. This is my second year doing this, so I'm increasing my goal to $250.00 in total donations.
