Hurricane Shmurricane..
Hurricane Jeanne is here...good times.
She was pretty disappointing, like Frances. The weather is still pretty shitty outside - I'll post pictures later.
One thing i hate a LOT about being through a hurricane is sitting around, and then getting a craving for something you don't have - and not being able to go get it. Like right now, I desperately want a Frosted Strawberry Poptart...and I can not have one. I am very very sad.
The curfew has been lifted, and I am almost tempted to just go drive around to see if anyone else is driving around. The winds here are still about 45 mph. No damage was sustained here.
I figured my power was going to go out so I could start reading some of the 5 books I have sitting on my nightstand. I sat outside and read a little more of The Basic Eight on a beanbag chair last night just as Jeanne was starting up, but I came inside after awhile b/c it started blowing rain on me.
I guess I could still read but...eh. TV is good.
Well, I'm going to try and locate a frosted poptart.
