Despite a horrendous time and audition at the ridiculousness that is SETC, I have a summer job!
Thank you Jake for dragging my ass up the mountain to audition at Parkway Playhouse because now I have two awesome roles that are close to home. (Actually, I don't want to live at home, but hey, I finally have a professional theatre job!)
I, my dear friends, will be playing Chava in Fiddler on the Roof in July, and Cecily in The Importance of Being Ernest in September (yes, I will be about a week late for school but ooooooh well!)And I get paid 200/wk. Not bad, hopefully my gas tank won't eat all of it up.
*Glasses clinking* Cheers!
And I must confess: I don't know Fiddler very well so anyone owning some sort of movie of it will be mucho appreciated.
Ha. I'm doing musical theatre. Ha. ha. ha. Haven't done a musical since high school when I was Mrs. Paroo in the Music Man...
I'm totally throwing this one in Catawba's face. I CAN do musicals, dammit!
It's been an interesting couple of weeks. Late nights full of silence and chatter all at once. I don't know if I'm ready for all this to be over...
