Those damn bricks!
Been here two weeks and haven't even touched the livejournal. But I haven't seen anything necessary that needs to necessarily find its way in.
At five o'clock yesterday afternoon, the sky was so dark the Catawba lampposts were lit! The air stuck to skin and slugs and all sorts of creatures with a weight that sloshy stomachs feel when they're on the verge of vomiting.
Seemed to only be a twenty-four hour bug. Or at least, lets hope so! I saw the most disgusting slug this morning and the sidewalks are littered with exploded slug guts.
I can't tell if they're exploded from too much water absorbtion or from people stepping on them. (shutter)
Walmart was the most worthless depressing store yesterday. I couldn't find ANYTHING! All of the school supplies are out. They have no arts and crafts. In line, I witnessed an old black man on a motorized cart steal a watermelon and the guy behind me fight with his girlfriend on the phone.
I just hope that when I'm old and rickety I can get away with stealing large melons and still looking absolutely adorable while doing it.
I wish I had the guts to steal something now. But no such luck.
