Notes: So you know after the OTP description meme I said that if inspiration hit me during a break from revision you might get a drabble for one of the pairings you guessed? Well here you go :) So this is dedicated in particular to cleopancake and jemzamia but I hope the rest of you like it too :) It's not the best thing I've ever written but hope you enjoy it anyway :) Any feedback is, as usual, much appreciated :)
He’s lost.
He’s half way across the world, in a city he doesn’t know, and he’s lost.
When he thinks about it he realises he’s been lost for a while now. He’s used to feeling lost. Used to feeling confused, used to feeling out of his depth.
It’s not like that changes when he’s with her.
He’s just as confused and just as out of his depth. But it’s a good kind of confused, a good kind of out of his depth. He completely loses who he is when he’s with her, but when he thinks about it he’s not sure he minds too much.
Is it fucked up? Yes. Would it be better for both of them if they didn’t love each other? Maybe. But he knows they do. And he’ll do anything to prove to her that that’s worth fighting for.
He’s half way across the world, in a city he doesn’t know, and he’s lost.
But then he glimpses a lock of blonde hair, a lock of blonde hair that could only belong to Cassie, Cassie Ainsworth.
And he’s not lost anymore; he’s with her. And wherever she is, that’s home.
