my legs are cold and i'm feeling quite light-headed. so i didn't have to work today and it was fantabulous because i just mooched around the house all day and did stuff i needed to do instead of folding clothes and putting out stock and doing stuff for jen. i didn't get out of bed until 10:24 and then i wasn't hungry so i didn't really have breakfast which is quite unusual for me. but i typed my poem for creatve writing tonight and then made folded some clothes from the laundary. umm, let's see. then i made a salami sang-wich and took a quite shower and finished some homework for 2maro. by the way, let me just mention how much i hate having to read about our american government. there is nothing more boring than the judicial system and such. soooo, hmmm then i put on disc four of season one of One Tree HIll and cleaned my englich saddle while i watched that. i got through the whole thing and then right as disc four was over just called me and said he was coming to pick me up. we were supposed to go to his house and i was going to teach him how to do the laundary but there were guys there putting in a new heating system and stuff so we couldn't do that. but i think we're going to do that 2maro. seriously, how horrible of a mother are you when you refuse to not only wash your son's dirty clothes for no reason, but you wont even show him how to do it so he can do it himself. that is so mean. my mom tried to show him last night but it was difficult because it was on our machine and his is different. hurrumph.
so like i said i have class tonight and we had to write this poem. we had a few different choices of what kinds to write but i chose an epigram which is a poem that was inspired by a quote. so i took a qupte from a rascal flatts song and wrote this poem.....want to hear it? good, because you were oging to anyways.........
the quote is "your a waterfall washing over me, i'm a thirsty man, let me drink you in." and here's my poem:
Let Me Drink You In
if i could go to the bar
and order a glass of you
i'd ask for a large.
i'd request for them
to leave out the ice.
and please, could i have
a tiny umbrella?
i'd drink you slowly
through a loopy straw,
savoring your taste as
you rolled over my tounge
and down my throut.
when the glass is drained,
i'd kindly as the waitor
to bring me another.
because just one of you
never quite satisfies my thirst.
ok well i gotta go because creative writing class awaits. hope ya'll are having a nice a chilly week.
