I am TV-less

So, I got rid of my cable televison. I am going to be so much more productive now. I spent so much time watching TV it was rediclous, sometimes up to 10 hours (when I'm depressed) of Law and Order at a time. Definitely close to 3 or 5 daily. Hopefully this will inspire me to get more reading and studing done. I mean, I'm watching over Heather's improvement by making sure she does her Reading in her choice study books daily, I can do the same thing for myself right? I will listen to NPR and listen to the opera's that the Met produces on their saturday radiocast. I will become more in tune with recent events and I will also become more cultured by listening to Classical and Jazz. If this sounds like a pep talk, you bet it is.

Tomorrow, I will be going down to the Mall and applying at various shops in hopes that one of them will take me on even if it's just seasonal. Maybe Macy's will, I love Macy's and could s tand to work there. I figure if I can get a seasonal job it gives me time to scope out other positions when the seasonal time is over with. That will carry me untill Feb. at least.

I thik I want to get an office job, unless one of the shops offers me a position that pays at least 7 dollars an hour. If I can get that rate of pay I would gladly stay there for as long as I could stand it. I'm on a personal rampage to better myself through work and study as well as through culture and I hope only that I can manage my goals that I set for myself.
