Oh, Lin, you're such a...prince of a guy. :D

XD Lin whined for a while, because he originally wanted to be Greelin (I told him: 'no, too predictable, been done before.' So, he ended up being just Lin, which is fine too.) As revenge, the bratty not quite prince-in-exile kept popping up more and more in the story - or at least indirectly.

Lin saw the advantage of having RanFan as his shield and Ed on occasion as his Amstrian blade. You can bet Lin will profit from all the help, long-term, but he's such a nice guy, you just don't resent him for it. Well, I don't. ^^

Well, not generally, at least. Ling can be a regrettable character to me because he tries to take over any story I toss him into (or he worms his way into, take your pick).
