How light/dark is your computer screen?
Haven't made new icons on the laptop yet, 'cause the program is on my old pc (with an ancient monitor of like 10y-old.) So, today, I went back to the old one with a pic to edit and was floored at the dark contrast wit old screen. Take this new icon for ex.:
On the old one - the one I make everything on and thus base the 'right' color off of - her hair was like orange/redish - like put the pink on multiple 2x + 1x darken & add more red ('cause you know, Vanille's hair is like more orange~ish). On this one it's light pink (by pure accident I happen to like it better like this).
So, question: does this mean that my icons have always seemed way too light-colored to y'all? ^^; Just asking so I can get an idea of how light/dark the average screen is and try to work that in when making new icons. ^^ Thanks!
