I'd Bet My Left Foot
My family and I were surveying my sister's new college dormitory even though she's already graduated college. We walked around for several hours, and happened upon a young man with down-syndrome climbing up the staircase. He was climbing because apparently he had been in an accident recently, and had lost the lower part of his left leg. The odd thing was, that the lower part of his left leg was still alive, and he carried it around with him wherever he went; it was just a foot with a healed stump.
