It had been a while
After going through a number of CDs yesterday, I finally decided that it was a silverchair day. Nothing fit my weird mood and the crappy weather outside. I tried Interpol, Frank Sinatra, Chingy... nothing was doing it, but silverchair just fit! I listened to their greatest hits while I got ready for a late lunch with Carlos. Today I'm listening to Diorama... silverchair, but much lighter.
I looked really freaking cute yesterday. No, I'm not ashamed to admit that, lol. I was wearing my black pants from the Body Shop and my pink button up shirt from New York & Company... and the adorable new shoes I bought with Karen. Oh, and some super cool socks that Aunt Patti made for me! Usually when I'm in a weird mood I don't care what I look like. I wanted to look super cute yesterday though and I think I achieved it.
Carlos took me to Papa Gyro's... it was very yummy. I had never been there before. I had some spinach thingies and he had falaffles... or something like that, lol. He looked very nice as well and of course he smelled good, he always smells good. We hung out at his place and watched part of some weird movie until I made him take me back to my car so I could go to work. He suggested that I call in sick. I thought about it, but I really need the money, lol.
Work was pretty uneventful. We didn't have to pull the carts out at the end of the night for the morning shelvers. That was nice, lol. Josh called in sick, so JT and I had to hold the fort down. It was pretty busy when I got there, but it slowed down. John (quksilvr1), Happy (tylergilmore01), and Chris came to see me. :) Fun times. John is my best friend and I consider Happy to be pretty far up there as well.
After work I went to Carlos' and we went to Wal-Mart and got ice cream. Yummmmmy. I got plain chocolate and he got Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey. For some reason I just wanted to be boring, lol. My ice cream is still in his freezer. :p Oh well, I'll get it another time. I had much fun hanging out with him. I also dropped my film off... I can't wait to get my pictures back!!! There will be some great pictures. Some from when Mike shaved Randy's head after the Alabama vs. Tennessee game and lots from my Auburn trip!!!
This morning I went to Wal-Mart to pick up my prescription and then went to my credit union. On the way there, I passed Matt (onearmgs). I got his attention and stuck my tongue out at him. He just danced in his car in an exaggerated way, lol.
I love Lee, the lady at my credit union. She's so funny! Last week she asked if I was in love. I told her I wasn't she was like "Oooh, I think you are." Today she asked if I could smell cologne when I walked in. Of course I could, that guy must've been wearing a gallon of it. She was like "You know, some cologne smells nice and fresh, like Calvin Klein, but that just smells sweet and then cheap." Sami (sami_j) got to meet her last week.
Today I feel very content... and happy. :)
