It's a miracle! I'm not dying anymore!!!
Wee, So after about a week and a half, I no longer feel like death is just around the corner. How freaking fantastic is that? I'm happy about it.
So tonight we had a huge Swedish test. Finished pretty quickly, went out to the break area where we were gonna wait for everyone to be done. Basically the test started at 5:30, was done by 6, had an hour for dinner because everyone got to take as much time as they wanted. So after a bit, everyone is out there, and we start talking. The one girl in my class is married, and just.. Isn't happy. It's obvious. And her husband sounds like such an idiot, and it's just sad. But her telling us about her unhappy marriage started us all talking about people and things that drive us all crazy. It was like a nice happy rant session. And it felt SO good.
Then we all got massages/gave massages. Such a relaxing evening. Get out all annoyances then clear your mind. We just did a full hour each.
I think I'm going to be more of the relaxation massage therapist vs. going for physical therapy. I just enjoy giving relaxation kinds. They say that whatever kind of massages you like to get, will be the kind you give. I mean, I suppose after I've FINISHED school, It's possible I'll have a different vantage point. But tonight Mary Ann (the nice old lady!) and I partnered up, and we both realized we massage very similarly. And we both agreed it was our favorite massage (each) that we had since school started. Usually I pair up with someone who prefers deeper work, and thus I get deeper massages. Which don't get me wrong - they feel good, but I just love the lighter strokes. It feels so delicate and nice. But when she was doing my back, all I could think was, "oh man, just press a little harder there, it hurts so bad". Haha, so who knows?!
This weekend my lovely lady Lindsay and her sire, Wes, are coming over. HAY, we should play cranium kabooki! Brandon got me it for my birthday, and since you both are the coolest evars, I think we'd all have a blast playing :) I'm sure Brandon is excited that I want to play it (lying!) Nicole, you're also more than welcome to come if you want as well! Halloweeeeeen. I wanna make some yummy kind of grubbage to snackage on too. Thinking about making a nummy beverage too. Any suggestions?
Haha today at class, Lindz, I was telling some of the ladies how you and Wes met, and they cracked up. "So.. she just sees this lunch guy from across the room... and it was "Love at First Sight"?" Cracks me up. Every time I think about it, I imagine Wes like he is in that picture when you and he and I went to Gettysburg, and he pulled his shirt up through the top like a gaylord (lol) and you're laughing at him. I'm imagining him with his tum out, like, scooping mashed potatoes. Just because it'd be hilarious to imagine you seeing him like that and being like "omg. I have to have him." Wes's sense of humor makes me lol. Especially being able to do something silly just because he knew it's funny. I'm so sad I won't be there for your wedding :(
