Man, I had such a kickass birthday and weekend. It was so fantastic!!!!
My birthday was thursday, and my parents took us to Appalachian Brewing Company for dinner. It was delicious for sure! And friday Brandon and I had a good time just hanging around and being silly. Then the weekend really began! Saturday we left around 11 and got breakfast at Crackel Barrel. Then we started down to Baltimore!! We got to the Sheraton around 2ish, checked in and relaxed a bit. Went downstairs to the lounge/bar to have a few drinks, then got ready to go to dinner! We got to Medieval Times around 5:30, and had a great time walking around the shoppe, and drinking insanely large glasses of beer. I bought a mug that's 44 ounces!!! and Brandon got an awesome ceramic mug! Then the show began at 7. The king even waved to me! and Brandon pointed at me so our Knight would throw me his carnation!!!! It was so great, there was so much food, beer, and we even ordered a bottle of wine to be delivered to us during the feast/jousting! It was so great. I had such a blast with the baby.
Then Sunday, we got up, ordered room service :) and then headed out to inner harbor. We walked around there, and then decided to go to Fells Point to check out this bar we read about, Max's. It was the coolest freakin thing ever. They had 62 beers on tap, and over 500 bottles. It was the most awesome thing of all time. Afterwards, we went next door and got a crepe <333. Mmmmm so good. We had such a fun weekend, it was a great way to spend our 3 year anniversary <3
I'm so sad it's over :( But I'm celebrating my bday with friends on the 6th, so that should be fun!
I start school next Tuesday! I'm soooo excited, it's unreal. I can't wait to do something that I'm pretty sure I'm going to really really enjoy. My parents are even gonna help me out because of how much of a bitch getting financial aid is. It's unbelievable how little help I can get with it being a credited program, and combined with the fact that I'm not 24, and I'm not estranged from my family - I can not legally be called independent - REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT I DON'T EVEN LIVE WITH THEM. wtfever. My daddy gets his big bonus in March, and they're willing to pay the other half of the schooling. I qualified for the 3900, which is the most someone in my position can qualify for, so I'm very thankful for that - and that it's in a stafford loan. So that is the most I could ask for. And I'm so thankful my parents will give me the rest. I couldn't believe all the places I got denied, I thought I wasn't even going to be able to go.
Brandon got a job in the bakery at giant!!! I'm so proud of him! Being my baker. How exciting :)
Well I think that sums up the past week or so, so I'm going to go ahead and finish "Don't Say a Word," and take my shower soon. <3
