I update so rarely anymore.
Things have been going well. Still really excited to start school :)
Brandon has decided to wait a year and go to an actual pastry school. It's the smartest thing he's done in a while, tbh. He rarely actually cooks, but he loves to bake so much. So I'm glad he's going to go for what he enjoys, instead of worrying about a piece of paper. I'm very proud of him.
Hopefully, when I finish school, I'll get a job that's making me a bit more than we make now, and he can go full time. /fingers crossed. If not, at least he can try to take more credits and just get a part time job or something.
I start Sept 2nd. I still have to get my stupid TB shot so I can send in my paperwork.
I've been reading Memoirs of a Geisha. I'm a little over halfway finished with it, and I can't wait to finish so I can go see the movie. I always try to read books before I see the movies, so I finally got the book to read. I love it a lot, actually. Even though it's so twisted.

Some sad news. Last Tuesday, Elmo passed away. It was really sad, and to be honest, it broke my heart. She was 20 though, and deaf, and just started going blind. I think we all knew it was coming eventually, but still. It's so bizarre to me. It's like everything from my childhood is now gone. Goldie passed when I was in 8th grade. I got Elmo before Goldie, and she lasted through Goldie's, and 7 years into Annie's. I still can't believe Annie is 7, either. Almost 8. Time goes way too quickly. Brandon and I were saying last night, how we wished animals could live through generations. I really wish they could :(

Yesterday, took my mom out to go shopping. We went around a bit, hit up Isaac's for lunch <33. I saw the absolute most adorable pair of Gucci heels (at marshall's lol.) But they were still 40 bucks, and I'm cheap when it comes to footwear.
Oh well, browsing the internets now <3
