OK...now that I've said that. There is a SPIDER in my closet. I don't think I will ever be able to get anything out of my closet agian. The good news is that I'll get a new wordrobe out of it, the bad news is I want have any place to put it since my closet will be off limits to me. I wonder if the fear reaction is a learned trait, as my mother is probably as phobic about them as you are, yet my brother and I have never been bothered by them. I never even knew she was afraid of anything until I heard her shriek at one that surprised her when I was in my teens - I came thundering down the stairs, thinking she must have fallen or something, only to realize when I got there that she was recovering from arachnid induced hysteria. Perhaps if I had seen her react this way when I was young, I might have learned the same reaction from her, but because I was older and hadn't developed a fear of them myself, I thought she was funny to be afraid of something so small and mostly harmless.
