New Jersey
So vacation is finally here - hallelujah! The power went out at school at the beginning of fifth period yesterday. My history class had gone into the writing lab to work on our research projects and I had just finished my first sentence when KAPOW! the screen went dark and all the other computers around me shut down and the lights went off. Cool. The students were thrilled and the teachers were all like "Oh, great, what now?" It was super windy and apparently the entire town lost power. We sat in the writing lab and did nothing for a while and then went back to the classroom. I was looking forward to leaving all the obnoxious people in my history class and going to gym next, but then we were told we wouldn't be switching classes. Great. No offense to the few cool people in that class, but I was bummed to be stuck with all those stupid people who can just barely be controlled by Walker, and who were driving Mr. K (our student teacher whose teaching us while Walker's in Costa Rica) up the wall. They ended up letting us out at 2:00 and I got a ride home with Liza.
Now I'm in NJ at the house of grandparents and I'm relaxing. Marvin (long time family friend) is coming over for dinner at six so that should be fun; we haven't seen him in a long time.
So yeah...la dee da...I'm a bit bored but not really. I always think of stuff to put on here and then when I finally get to it I don't remember them. Stupid life, why do you take up so much of my time? ;)
Maybe I'll come up with some countdowns later.
