Cause right now, I'm chilling on the beach, with my wireless laptop of course. There is a sweet ocean breeze blowing through my hair. I've lost all unecessary weight. There is an ice cold bottle of Hornsby's Hard Cider in my hand. I just took a drink, it tastes wonderful.
I'm listening to an exclusive Bruce Springsteen ep (he recorded it just for me) on my brand new iPod Nano. A speciel Nano that Steve Jobs created just for me. That's right, it's a 60 Gig Nano. No one else on the Earth even has one.
Parked up on the boardwalk is my sweet new ride. It's a 2006 Mustang. Yeah, baby, a real return to form. Grey. Fast as hell.
I just leased a great beachfront place. One bedroom, but the thing is huge. Wood floors. Got a sweet little studio set up in the living room. A vintage '72 Custom Tele leaning against a Fender Reverb Deluxe. Got that little Gretch set all worked up for my drummer. A nice little 'Rick bass on the couch, plugged into a 70s Ampeg. Got the Hammond and the Moog basically stacked on each other. Gonna lay down some analog jams in a minute with my pals from Starflyer. Yeah, the classic line up, Lenz, Swift, Cloud and Jason. Gonna see if Dickie can set me up with a promo copy of his new reissue on Secretly Canadian.
So I'll ask again. Your life a mirror of mine?
