(no subject)
Got back from the trip around 3 this morning. It was ok overall. Went to Busch Gardens for a few hours on Friday. Her aunt drove us down in my car. Then everyone (mom, dad, aunt janet, rob, micah, meghan, josh, amity, and me) headed over to virginia beach. All the "kids" had to sleep in the living area of the condo on the floor, but I was so exhausted from last week that I slept soundly each night in the corner with the wall on one side and Amity on the other. Friday night Amity shuffled in the sand and made a GIANT heart that read "AMR LOVES TVM 'O8." I thought it was the sweetest thing and loved it. I'm a dork lol. Her dad got mad that she beat him to it lol.
Saturday we got up and went to the beach. Some things you may not know about me: I'm afraid of the beach, more specifically the water. I'm afraid of people to see my scars. I'm afraid of people seeing my body (in a bathing suit). Let's just say I found out when I'm manic I'm brave lol. Had a bathing suit on, took off the shirt, and ran into the freezing water. I dove right in. I find that you get numb pretty quickly in the cold ocean water so it isn't cold anymore lol. All of us tried to go out. Amity came with me too :) She's afraid of the ocean as well. I'm proud of her. Rob and I were doing handstands lol. I had better form ;)
After an hour or more we went to the condo's pool because the wind was pelting sand into us and it kind of stung. Still being "brave" I got right into that as well. Did a few flips, pictures, throwing each other around, etc. After another hour or so the braveness went away completely and I put on the shirt and sat outside the pool.
Then after that Rob, Amity and I went shopping on the boardwalk for over an hour and we bought a few things.
All the while she forgot sunscreen and I can't wear it so we're both lobsters now. It's turning into a tan and I've never been this "dark" lol.
