Would you say Arthur is a strictly non-fiction reader? :D :D I can see him pouring over stuff like that when bored.

LOVE YOU TOO!

Mostly non fiction, but I'd say that it depended on the subject matter. Probably not main stream fiction, but who knows. I do see him as reading more to learn, so I don't see him reading much for the sake of plot. Does that make sense?

Cors sent me this list:

Midnight Season (possibly not the title, will double check)
Lovely Bones
The Namesake
Shutter Island
The Watchmen
V for Vendetta
A Perfect Storm
Boy who Climbed Mount Everest
Between a rock and a hard place
Columbine
Room
Hate List
Looking for Alaska
Linger
13 Reasons Why
Speak

Going to go look those up to attempt to see what he should add to this list

:D :D

Some of those seem young to me. I'm not sure how much time Eames would spend sorting through Young Adult. They're good, award winning and such so possibly.

What drives him to read?

Reads for fun, mostly. :) I can see him lounging about reading if he's bored. Especially when there's nothing to do.

Which ones seem young to you, just the young adult ones? I think something like Speak would be interesting to him. I do like the random comic books just as a means of being rounded out.

Yes, just the young adult ones. Some of them are award winners, so they would have been written up. But I don't know that you'd notice them if you weren't hanging out in the YA section of a book store. And while a lot of adult women do actively read from that section, I don't see a lot of men in there. That's all. Just based on my perception of where Eames would shop. But maybe he does activly review his recs at Amazon.

I think that eames is someone who reads whatever strikes his fancy, no matter the genre.

YA, Mystery, gay fiction-- I don't think he'd be limited to certain things

I think its more content rather than labels for him

I did not mean to imply that these were things that he would avoid because of who the target audience is. Simply that I don't think that he would necessarily be exposed to the chance to read them.
