Supernatural and Family
It was a surprise to walk in today on my mom watching supernatural season one. I say this not because it's a bad show or anything, far from it. All those that know me have heard my endearment towards the show about two brothers hunting demons which is now entering it's sixth season of production. No the funny thing is that my mom is sitting there riveted to her seat and toting how cute the boys are. I'm sorry Jensen and Jared are both married and near my age within years of it. It's weird that my mom thinks they are cute. Thankfully for my sanity it's Jared she considers to be the cuter of the two. I am not sure I could bare that her and I both find Jensen hot. Oie... it's weird enough that me and my younger sister agree on it.
I have been a fan of Jensen's work since prior to Supernatural, however I really enjoy the portrayal of Dean Winchester for the most part. When I say Jensen is hot it's an aesthetics statement however when I say Dean is sexy hot yeah that's an overall sense of him. So having my mom agree would be weird and ruin the image of Dean Winchester, not that the show isn't working on that already.
Alright if you didn't catch the end of season five read no further I really don't want to accidentally spoil it or the start of season six.
With that said what is with the imagining himself happy with Lisa bit? Sure the kid, seeing Ben as part of him like being a proud pappa and maybe even wanting that normalness and what Lisa represents. It is not Dean though. There is no great attachment to Lisa EVER! I could swallow Cassie but it's not necessarily something I truly would go for either. Now if they had evolved Jo and let her become something, given her and Dean a chance then sure. Even Anna had more of a possibility before she went psycho angel then Lisa does. I am almost certain Dean is going to be chaffing under the choke to get loose from a life that really has no meaning for him. What is your opinion?
Also is it going to be weird having supernatural without Kripke in charge? I mean even if he hasn't been up front all hands in the last couple seasons do you think the show is going to change? I've heard a few theories and am open to hearing other people's opinions.
