so... my room is a total mess, so instead of cleaning it, I've decided to browse the internet. W00t! XD
I've finally heard Miyavi's new(?) song Kimi ni negai wo... omgz... so good. His voice has really improved, I'm quite proud of him. ^_^ And the music video for it reminds me a lot of Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight Tonight"
Now if he'll just come tour the U.S....
I've been working on my Gundam Wing fanfic 'Only In Dreams' a lot lately, and I have only 3 more chapters left, plus an epilogue... XD I'm so excited! It'll be my first finished multi-chapter fic. *dances* I dunno if I'll be starting another fic or not... I have ideas.. but I might need a break. Plus I've been drawing a lot more lately, and I think I'll want to focus on that for a little bit.
I'm going through the painful process of completing my financial aid... I need to sign up for loans, which is turning out to be a bitch-and-a-half. I can't wait until that's done... *sigh*
I've been doing more research on abroad programs, and I think I'm gonna go to japan next fall... hopefully. I need to know how soon I can apply for it. I want to go to Tsukuba University, where I can take classes in english. I've discovered that I can take up to Psych classes abroad, which is fine. The rest of my units would go to japanese culture and language studies and maybe a couple other things if I'm able to. I'm a little confused on it though, cuz i dunno if I have to be part of a special program or not. One thing seems to state that I do, whereas the other does not. I dunno. I have a feeling I might not be able to really look into it until I'm at Berkeley and I'm able to visit the EAP office there. *sigh* I'll have to do this now cuz 1) this abroad program is called the "junior" program (I'll still be a junior in the fall... I think... and this may just be a MINIMUM requirement too), and it clearly states that grad students aren't allowed to go to tsukuba abroad.
On top of that, this means I can probably save The American University of Paris for when I'm going to Grad school... and I know that AU offers a LOT of psych classes, so that'll hopefully work (need to do more research into that).
I also think I'm going to review all of my japanese from jap 1, so that I'll be prepared enough to take jap 2 in the spring semester, which'll really help if I'm really going to do this abroad thing. my only concern is that I think I lost my kanji papers... so I'll forget my kanji. ;_; scary... oh well, I'm sure I can catch up. ^_^
