My First Entry, Anime Expo, and other things...

so... yo. wazzup. @_@

I finally got a livejournal. Why? I dunno. Maybe it's cuz my friends have livejournals... or because I want a place to start typing up real journal entries (with a little bit of censoring of course). I dunno. I've always written my own journal entries like I'm talking to someone. Whatevers. It doesn't really matter.

So what's the first thing I should start off with? Ah... yes. Anime Expo. I went over the weekend, and had a lot of fun... though most of the fun was because I was with friends, naturally. I stayed up late... until almost 6 a.m. both nights. The first night we stayed up just hanging out and talking... we were laughing so hard most of the time that my face hurt. Good stuff, man. The second night... went to the AX "dance", which didn't really have good music.. they had like three good songs towards the end... like they ran out of the crap first. How sad. It was this wanna-be-rave techno crap that would have a beat you could dance to for like two minutes, and then it'll be followed by three minutes of... slowness. Like, um... dood? what the hell? Whatever. Gotta go to a real club soon...

Lemme see... while I was there, I bought a few things. Here's what I bought:
Cowboy Bebop wallscroll
Inuyasha wallscroll
Fruits basket poster
trigun poster
Deathnote coffe mug
Inuyasha keychain
Kyo (from fruits basket) keychain
Alice 19th mangas

um... ya... I think that's it.

Oh, and I got a Eureka Seven poster for free. W00t. Dunno what that anime/manga is, but whatevers... it's on my door now. ^___^

I also saw the Anime Music Video Contest that they held there too. That was fun. I really enjoyed a particular one called "I'm NOT Gay" using Ouran High School Host Club. Greatness I tell you. Greatness. *worships*

There were a few really hot cosplayers there... and go figure they were all chicks dressed up as guys. There was a girl dressed up as L, another girl dressed up as Kenshin... ya... good stuff.

Moving on to other things....

I was trying to find the "I'm Not Gay" video online a couple nights ago, and I ended up coming across this person's favorites list on YouTube. She had a lot of J-Rock stuff on her list, and amongst them was this guy called Miyavi.

I now want to practice baby-making with him.

He's like a woman. But with a penis. OMG. He has awesome hairstyles that change regularly I think... lol... and he's 6 ft tall... and... has a smexy voice... and and... he has this really cute smirk where one side of his mouth goes up, and suddenly it's like he knows every little secret there is to know about sex (<= run-on sentence). And he's 25.

Did I mention I'm learning Japanese and moving to Japan??? hahaha....

*feels dorky*

No need to fear... I'll get over him eventually. I had a similar experience with this Calvin Klein underwear model called Travis Fimmel. A smexy long-haired blonde Australian. So... ya. I very rarely regress back to my teeny-bopper years.

And I'm also a freak apparently cuz if you know what both Travis Fimmel and Miyavi look like, then you'll realize that they're total opposites of the masculine/feminine spectrum. Whatevers...

Seriously though, I'd just like to meet Miyavi. Just to be able to have an interesting conversation with him would be great. I read translations of his journal entries online, and he seems like a really interesting person to know, although I think he might be a little arrogant... lol...

It's amazing how people can be separated by things like distance and language... even if I did meet Miyavi... or any other foreigner to me... I wouldn't be able to talk to them, due to the whole language issue. It's interesting, because the world is so diverse in some ways... yet I have a feeling that we can connect with someone from anywhere, no matter how far away they are.

Urk. ya. Now I'm getting all weird and philosophical. I think I'm done. bai bai, ja ne.
