Damnit, St. Augustine
So, here's something Augustine said that I like....
"Since love grows with you, beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul."
Nice, and pretty. Insightful.
He says numerous things like that that make me have warm fuzzies.
Then, as I read along, I find this gem
"Women should not be enlightened or educated in any way. They should, in fact, be segregated as they are the cause of hideous and involuntary erections in holy men.”
And now, I find I have a seething hatred for him and all he says.
