as the subject of this little entry conveys, i've been uber-busy. first it was the screenplay. can't wait for the grade on that one.. theen i was gone most of this past weekend for girl scout camping. t'was fun and nice just getting away but all the same, it's definitely good to be home with proper plumbing, refrigerators, mattresses, TVs, etc. so i got back sunday afternoon, discovered i only actually had a little homework and so proceeded to laze about for the rest of the day. layout for the lit mag is gonna be every day for the next two weeks, which means no time for anything, but at least we're almost done. i mean i love the magazine and i know i'll miss it once it's over but right now it's just one more time-consuming responsibility. they never stop. everytime something big looms over my head, the only way i motivate myself is by convincing myself that i just have to get it done and the stress will be over with. but then there's aaaalways the next thing waiting in line.
oh, apps are done! submitted UF's at like 11:57 for the midnight deadline but at least it's done and it was the last oooooone. and so far i'm doing pretty well. got into usf honors and new college, with news of the rest not coming until april o'course. speaking of college, i just got an email from a brown alumnus saying "We are having an interview party at Books & Books ." what's an interview party?? i sincerely hope it has nothing to do with other applicants being there at the same time where we have to talk in front of each other. i think i feel ok about whatever it is though- the bowdoin interview was fine so hopefully this thing will be pleasant as well.
i have to do my community service essay tomorrow night so i can shove it in halback or somebody's face in time to be able to buy grad night tickets. i would just give it to diskin, my actual gov/econ teacher but my procrastination is biting me in the ass with the fact that he's going to be on that washington trip all this week. and speaking of grad night, i've heard that the only way to get on the same bus as friends is to buy tickets at the same time. if this is true, lovely. i'd kinda rather it be by last name alphabetically b/c who knows when exactly i'll be able to get the money/community service in so it'd be difficult/annoying to try to coordinate when to buy with everyone else. besides, i don't know who's friends with who anymore. it seems to change from one minute to the next.
i should completely not even be writing this now. stupid comic. gnight all.
