Watercolour Stationery Workshop
Last month, I was lucky enough to get invited to teach another workshop at the
Road Less Traveled Store.
This time it was right up my alley being that it was making Watercolour Stationery.
I really enjoyed making the stationery for
my wedding and since people enjoyed customizing greetings,
I thought maybe they would enjoy this workshop. Besides, it's a perfect excuse to work with nice paper! I was joined by a really sweet couple that day who wanted an alternative way of spending a lazy Saturday afternoon together.
I choose to teach techniques like flat wash, graded wash, wet on wet, lifting off and using things like alcohol. It was fun playing around with the alcohol, watching the paint create shapes on it's own on the paper.
I had each participant make some cards and gift tags that they could take with them and use for any occassion. I really enjoyed teaching this workshop and I think I'll be adding a few more in the next months leading up to Christmas.
