Ok. I've gotta say it. This had got to be the WORST election year ever. Are you people (And by you people I mean polticians/tea party/advertising excts) INSANE? Srsly. This country is going to hell in a hanbasket, and you're all whiney about who's poop doesn't smell? What are you, brain damaged!?
This election thing has gone to far. Srsly. We can, as a country, NOT take every other year off just to play "pick me" dodgeball. Really. NOTHING is getting accomplished. And everyone seems ok with it because it's "Election year".
NEWS FLASH: EVERY OTHER YEAR IS ELECTION YEAR! You seriously mean to tell me it is ok to WASTE a full 50% of our time doing this stupid game? Really? GET THE FUCK TO WORK.
Oh, and Attention John Raese (or should I call you John Racist). Joe Manchin is not a rubber stamp for Obama. He's a rubber stamp for the Coal Industry. While YOU are a rubber stamp for George W. Bush. Don't take that sanctimonious tone with me. You BOTH can go straight to hell.
NEWSFLASH: Obama was elected BY THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE. Unlike Geroge W. But for 8 years, you called the rest of us "unAmerican" for criticizing W for being a moron. Well now that the shoes on the other foot, you can dish it out but can't take it.

Gaming: Nero
Character check.
Perego - Primary. While he needs a direction, I'm very pleased with where our plucky little hero is. I'm not sure what to spend his build on yet. I think I might get back into what Tavian and I call "Identomancy". But that'll only cause 6 more build. After that, dunno. Nother prof? Backstab? Smithing? Dunno. We'll see.
Maro - Secondary - I approve of Maro after Ironpost. He's just the level of fighting skill I can approve off. Plus he's the chance for being romantic (see below). Only one problem. That damn backlash. Maro now takes double from Normal damage. Which makes him the most ineffectual fighter ever. I might have to shelve him till it wear's off in a year. Which sucks.
Grey-Ear - ??? - I dunno what to do about the mouse. Last event just kinda made him... bleh. Time travel fouled him up srsly IG. One more mod, and the mouse might be done for awhile.
Gnusto - ??? - I finally made my goblin nature caster. He's on the books in WAR. We'll see if I get the chance to play him. He might replace the mouse as a tricary.
Gambi Fawks - ??? - We'll see how Bernois goes for the fox rabbit thing. Hopefully running with a group will be good for me, and I'll be able to sink into the character better. Either that or the Gawd-Fadda will have me whacked for mackin' on his niece. Either way!
Nasim - ??? - Still doing it. I've the urge to play him, but I don't think I'll have the time to for another couple of years.
Smoke - ??? - Short run, but ultimately a failure. But he taught me something about myself. Smoke was my attempt to run as one as the "popular kids". I'm sometimes that nerd who wishes he was a jock, just to be approved of by the upper elites.
But I got a taste of it... and became ashamed. In a way, I knew that would happen. But I had to experience it for myself anyway. I am not "uber" and "hardcore". I don't approve of almost anything that crowd does. So why try to be one of them? Grass is always greener, perhaps. But I'm not one of them, I'm just me. So thanks to Smoke for teaching me that.
Perhaps I'll make him an NPC. He might sit well in that role.

Gaming and Romance:
Typically I don't care for PC on PC romance. In the end, it mucks with the system. The whole "it never ends well thing."
But lately, I've the urge to be romantic. I know why. I'm lonely out of game. VERY lonely. So it's nice to have a pretend "sometimes" romance, just to fill the void now and then.
Smoke was going to be romantic, but he's out now. Maro can and will be a romantic... but I dunno when I'll play him again (stupid backlash).
Bleh. Maybe I just need a hug. Feh.
