Work! Art! Nice Weather! Oh my!
I finally got some work done today! I had someone ask about a hat being in stock last night and, fortunately, it was. So, I shipped a hat out today. Another of the books I've got up at half.com finally sold, so that also got shipped. I started putting together the owl hats that are due before the end of the month. After I the owl order is complete I plan to start a batch of hats for Penguicon stock (eep, a little more than a month away!). First on the list is a batch of cthulhus. Also, I should do monkey hats.
I got distracted this afternoon by drawing, and then by Lucy Knisley's live stream painting. Which should get going again some time after 9pm CST. Check her out, she's awesome. Also, her cell phone has the Star Wars cantina song as the ringtone.
Definitely need to dig out that scanner manual. Definitely looks better in person. Also, I've been thinking about giving inking with actual ink (and not marker pens) a shot. It would look better and hopefully scan better also.
I have the brushes. I sure as hell have the ink (thanks to Jocelyn and other scribies). So, why not? I guess that's now on my to-do for tomorrow (which should include some laundry).
I do not know why I keep drawing Keno. Guess I just like horns. I should draw my death knight.. she has horns. Also, pigtails.
Went for a nice walk to visit the post office this afternoon. I definitely have missed warm weather; I'm looking forward to things being consistently warm(er). Also went out for dinner in what seems like months (may actually be months, too). Finally had a real burger. It was DELICIOUS and I am not sure if it is because I have been meat deprived, or if it was actually amazing. I guess I'll just have to go again sometime and find out. Oh darn.
