So, I need to find a job. Soon.

I've been writing here more at livejournal than diaryland. Oh well. Also, note to self: don't mix Full Throttle and mountain dew for a suicide slurpie mix. It'll keep you up.

So, I went up to find something for mom today for mother's day. I got her the latest James Patterson novel at Barnes and Noble. I dropped by Atlas on the way home to see if I was on the schdule for next week. Nope. Probably won't get many hours anyways so this means that I need to find another job, a second job. Goes back to the whole idea that no one usually wants to hire temporary help but I shall not give up. Nope. I still have a few applications. I'll turn those in tomorrow, shoot an email over to my aunt to see if they need extra help of any kind with their business, and consider applying to one of those mean, mindless corporations like Harris Teeter or something. Just go with the flow.

In other news, I've felt incredibly geeky. I've been taking the loads of spare time on my hands and been watching movies and tv shows on dvd. Lord of the Rings. Underworld. Pirates of the Caribbean. Battlestar Galactica. I also have the urge to write. Fanfiction. I started one for Battlestar Galactica which I do intend on finishing. I have one I started for Lord of the Rings which needs a new chapter. Now I want to write one for Underworld. So geeky.

As much as I really don't like working minium wage labor, I need to get out of the house and do something productive. And I need the money. I'm going to watch [adult swim] and try to read some more of The Master and Margarita. Reading Russian Literature and attempting to understand some Italian literary theory is the only way I feel productive this week.
