Today was one of those days were I sighed a lot and kept passing my hand above my head whenever I had people ask me how I was doing.
Yes. It was one of those days.
Sometimes you feel like you're over your head. Or just incredibly lazy even though you know you should be the studious student and working very hard on one of your many assignments you know that you have due very soon. Tonight isn't one of those nights. I had an eight o'clock class this morning, two o'clock canceled because of conferences, and had a test in Italian at three. I studied and looked through literary criticism for most of the day. I got a rough draft of a paper invovling the thesis and methodology of another paper.
I have no desire to actually work right now. Speaking of which, I am just screwing around even though I should really be working.
So procrastination. Let's talk about last's night episode of Battlestar Galactica.
It was frakking instense. There were some spoilers floating around and me, being the spoiler whore that I am, read them (a bad habit I picked up while Farscape was still on air). I won't go into them but when I read them, I hope they usually aren't true. When I eventually watch the episode or the movie, the spoiler only make the experience more intense.
This case was no different. The opening scene, I guess it was the opera house [at least according to the podcast], was really creepy and I can't wait to see how that progresses with Athena, Roslin, and Caprica Six.
The trail. Wow. It kind of felt like watching an episode of JAG in some sense but much better. It's in space. The tensions between Lee and the Admiral are getting tense. Ha. Tense tensions. Anyways... yeah. Then Tigh's testimony. Wow. And surprise surprise. The Laura's cancer is back. Probably one of my favorite scenes from this episode dealt with Lee questioning Laura Roslin on the stand.
Oh yeah. And the final five are going to be relieved though I am hoping what spoilers I heard aren't true...
And thus...that is what I remember though I have seen some of the teasers for the season finale. Damn and I can't wait.
Anyways, I really should make myself productive I suppose. The Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is supposed to premiere later. I know. I am a pathetic fan girl tonight.
