NYE??
in an attempt the break my 3 year streak of NYE doom, i am attempting a de-hermit'ing (they sprayed last week, hopefully we got them all). is anything exciting (and cheap?) going on? if not, does anyone want to come over and watch silly movies and mix drinks with me? i've been re-arranging the apartment, so it'll almost be like you've never been here before.
except that you have. maybe. have you?
anyway, i thought of bringing back the old glory with a farscape party and watching all 5 seasons in one sitting, but decided that the logistics would be a little too complicated, so i was thinking something easier on the chronometer like maybe some rifftrax'ed flicks -- i've got about 2 dozen, incl star trek 5, 6, & 7, star wars 1 & 2, ... oh yes AND the STAR WARS HOLIDAY FUCKING SPECIAL. oooooh yeah, bea muthafuckin arthur inna house (the house, in this case, being a bar in mos eisley). singing. and who could forget jefferson stardestroyer crooning to security guards who are supposed to be shaking down chewbacca's family? those bastards! *
you could. and the beauty of it is that you'll eventually, finally, ...blissfully, blot it out of your mind.
so we can watch it again next year.
