yesterday: fun at both dickens and gaskells. but mostly at gaskells! and hopefully i will get to go again soon with some of the same people. its just way too much fun to pass up! i have never actually ballroom danced... outside of high school gyms class awkwardness and it was just, indescribable. plus, i have this amazing dress that my friend Alison made for me that has a full circle skirt which is swishy victorian style amazingness. plus, got to meet a bunch of new people, mostly Jeff's friends. mostly a bunch of gorgeous girls all in amazing dresses who were very fun to talk to and in a couple cases, dance with. plus, dickens was great! cant wait till next year for that to come around again! cant say so far that i like it more than renn faire, but it ranks pretty high on my 'fun things to do' list now! not that i actually have one of those.... i really don't. but if i did, dickens and gaskells would both be on it! also! got to see Bunny for the first time in idontknowhowlong, and even though we only got to hang for the equivalent of 5 seconds, by which i mean about an hour...i am super excited to see her again before the end of break and again during this quarter because if things work out i will have fridays off to go frolic with said long lost friend! yay!

today: woke up to the sillyness which is five people in a bunk bed. two on top three on bottom, i was on the top bunk with Maya, and i suspect we got better sleep than Jeff, Mekayla and Kate, who were all on the bottom bunk. waking up was fun though, since there were all five of us talking and being cuddly. at some point everyone ended up on the bottom bunk in a pile, not sure how we managed it but we did! i was the exact middle and was very very amused with all the footsie that was happening. between the five of us we decided we are a polyanthropod! pretty cute... also slept from 2ish to 5ish after i helped get everyone else home... i guess that's to be expected after waking up early, dancing all night, and not going to sleep until close to 4am....? yep.

back in Davis now, being nice to Jeff and drove him back for Yule celebrations with his people. tomorrow there will be more dress-up and shenanigans! then the week at my moms for x-mas! also bound to be a little adventure! cant wait for the baking cookies and the tree-trimming! and the traditional x-mas eve party! really really have to love this time of year....if not only for the holidays, for the weather and the free time!
