Very interesting. You probably know that the premise of this fic is one of the most common ones out there and usually executed badly. But the writing and the characterization is good enough that I think it's worth giving you the benefit of the doubt. :)

I did like Naturalist!Starscream and his private opinions on humanity. He gets my sympathy for having teenage angst inflicted on him. Yeah, I know we all probably went through that stage at one time or another, but once you grow out of it you realize you were being kinda ridiculous. :D

I'm very well aware, thank you! ^_^; I know that it's one of the most cliched plots, involving one of the most-abused Decepticons--I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to tackle it if not for a very good fandom friend requesting it.

Naturalist!Starscream kind of cracks me up, too! And yep, teenage angst not that Starscream isn't just as ridiculous sometimes which is not a good combination with Decepticons who don't care about humans at all. As someone who's still recovering from my teenage years (although I seem to be past the worst bits by now) it's been very interesting to write. I often need to remind myself to keep a sense of

This was a nice beginning for your story. There were moments when Starscream's 'nature documentary' made me laugh, which was a good way to show his character.

I'll be very interested in how this story goes on.

...I have such a little-girl crush on "Normal Kid meets Cybertronian" stories. I love them enough to put up with the (often terrible) plots.

So having you write one is a total treat. <3 You put a lot of realistic detail into your OCs.. you know, without describing all of their favorite band shirts and random inside jokes. ;D I can't wait to get to know Hope.

(..I'm almost happy I didn't discover this until today. Two chapters in a row!)

Honestly, "normal kid meets Cybertronian" is one of my all-time favorites too--it's a guilty pleasure, essentially, and I find myself reading them (especially the romances) even when I know they're horrible and cliche and OOC and somehow, when I got prompted, I couldn't help but actually write it. XD I know that I'm missing out on a lot of my regular readers, but I absolutely don't regret doing it. XD

Those come next chapter! :DDD Hope has awesome band shirts! (I kid, I kid. XD) But seriously, thank you--I really try to write "real," developed characters, so that means a lot.
