So. Fanfiction.net has finally its shit together and created separate sections for G1 (...And all of the others? Except apparently the character list only has G1 characters, even though the section's still named 'Transformers/Beast Wars'?) and movieverse. Depends on whether or not you want to have the character lists, I guess. Can you move stories from section to section, or would you have to delete and repost? Because the latter wouldn't be worth it.

I'd say where your stories fit best would depend on the number of movie-verse characters the fic has. Like, it'd be a lot more odd to find fics including Miles and Trent in the G1 section that it would be to find Bluestreak and Sideswipe in the movie-verse section, you know? And a fair percentage of your readers are probably 'repeat customers,' so to speak, who will find you no matter which section you post in.

...That sounded a lot more creepy than it was meant to.

Guh, good luck with all those essays. Senior year can be a right pain.

I decided to go with the right category--I'm kind of an awful rules-follower. And you're right, about the way it works--the movie's already *established* a basis of updating G1 characters, so it seems to work well that way, but it really doesn't go the other way round. And you can switch stories around--I'd *hate* deleting, I'd lose all my reviews! And it's a bother ( ... )
