2 years...
It's been over two years since I posted to this thing!
Soft update on my life so 2 years from now I can read where I was:
I live in a one-bedroom apartment with my Cabbage. We just left a shitty house and our old landlord was named Chris. He was an epic douche and I would've taken great pleasure in picking off his fingernails and making a necklace out of them. Painted, of course. I'm about to apply to nursing school...hopefully two years from now I will be almost finished with clinicals and rocking the shit out of them. Don't suck, future Emily. Danny and I are going to Canada in June to see his brother graduate. It's going to be so much fun; I hope we go camping again and do some more of the touristy stuff Vancouver has to offer. Also, I need to look up when the celebration of lights is going on again. That was stunningly beautiful.
You love Bowie. Don't forget you LOVE Bowie. She's a bit of a cunt sometimes, but she makes you laugh in the most unexpected of ways. She makes you proud when people in drive-thru windows will give her food because she's so fucking adorable. Or when she stops traffic with her "eyebrows". She also makes you seriously reconsider your involvement in the human race when you are repeatedly asked if you painted her face.
"Yes, stupid lady on the sidewalk. I woke up this morning and thought to myself, 'You know what? Let's fuck with humanity today and paint your dog.'"
Actually, the fucking with humanity part isn't that far off. However, painting your dog is way off-base.
