Just made a brisket. Been a LOOONG time since I have.
And goddamn.
I decided to experiment.
And here's the recipe of OMFG tasty!!
1 Bottle Stubbs Beef Marinade
1 Bottle of Beer (different beers change the flavor, I just used Bass Pale Ale)
1 Beer bottle of water
Garlic Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Lowrys Seasoned Salt with tobasco to taste
Paprika to taste
Cheyenne pepper to taste
Chili powder to taste
1 diced onion
1 cup of sliced baby bella mushrooms
6oz of Monterrey blend dried mushrooms
1 can Rotel Tomatoes with green chilies
And the brisket of course.
I made slices in the brisket and rubbed the spices into the meat thoroughly. Put all of the ingredients in my crock pot and let it marinade. Then turned it on low for 16 hours.
Right now it is nice and tender. Could be more, so I'm going to let it soak and cook a little longer.
But GODDAMN... it is mouthwateringly delicious. So much, in fact, that I might just go to the store and get more for tomorrow.
