The ritual is over. Aya-chan's going to be fine... And Sanzo did what he came to do. As soon as Aya's brother goes to take her to her room, he's already heading out the door and back into the garden.
Sanzo can tell that arguing with him now would be pointless. He also understands how frustrating it must be, to owe a debt like this to a complete stranger. It's probably a situation that they'd both rather avoid.
"Fine," he replies after a long pause. "I'll keep that in mind."
At least it's not raining anymore.

"Thank you," he doesn't sound at all winded. He does sound as if he feels slight awkward. "She wanted me to thank you."
