When I came back from spending the day with Ginta the guards were gone and Ran was sitting on my bed looking at one of my manga. I was so shocked I couldn't move. He stood up and apologized for coming in my room without me there. That finally made me able to move and I hugged him and told him he come into my room any time he wanted to

"It's about damn time. Did he say why he's come to his senses?"

Nagi will have to move quickly to avoid being hugged.

"I didn't ask. I didn't want to question, you know? But I think Momoe-san had something to do with it."

She looks down at his chest with a pouting expression.

"You changed back. Just when I need girl talk too. Does this mean that you won't be coming to visit?"

Nagi doesn't move. He isn't in the mood to make Aya pout.

"I was still me when I was a girl. Why should it matter for talking? And I still have the rest of the cookies. I can figure out how long one of them lasts so that I don't suddenly change back in the middle of a visit or anything."

Aya smiles brilliant because she thinks Nagi has given her permission to talk about all things girlie.

Hair petting and cuddling is imminent. Nagi really is pretty. Like a doll. Especially as a girl.

"I guess it doesn't matter. I can't wait to take to my world and show you off to all my girlfriends." He is so pretty, they will all be jealous of him. Especially Sakura, since she still has to pad her bra. It will be perfect.

Nagi more or less has. Of course, he has no idea what he's just let himself in for. On the other hand, if girl talk comes with hairpetting, he won't mind.

Nagi laughs. "Do I have to meet Sakura? Everything I've seen of her in my world makes her pretty creepy."

She isn't surprised when Nagi pulls thoughts out of her mind. It's almost comforting.

"Yes, you do. And Keiko. She thinks she is so pretty because she has been in couple of television commercials, but you are much prettier."

Nagi seems to enjoy touch so much, she wonders what it would take to convince him of the joys of pedicures.

She smiles at him.

"I love having you around. And not just because you are pretty."

Nagi ponders for a moment. "Do I have to be nice to them?"

"Oh really? Maybe you should tell me all the reasons you love having me around. My, uh, self esteem is suffering or something."

[dream_departed]

"No. There is even a special way pretty girls have of acting nice when they are actually being mean that I think you will be pretty good at."

She gives him a questioning look but answers him easily.

"You're sweet. You'd do anything for a friend. And you're funny. I like it when you get prickly and sarcastic. You're wickedly smart, and very brave. You've always been willing to go along with the crazy stuff I want to do. You are fun to play video games with." She is just going to let him think she is still only talking about the video games. "I like the way I feel challenged when I'm around you. You let me give hugs. And your hair is really soft."

The last is accompanied by more attempted hair pets. "I someone being mean too you?" Someone is trouble if they are.

"Excellent. Learning new ways to be mean is always a good thing."

"No, not really." Well, Crawford is kind of being an ass, but that's normal. "I just don't get compliented very often."

She looks at him like she isn't quite certain she believes that no one is being mean to him.

"Okay. I'll just have to give you compliments more often."

"And hair pettings, too?"
