What the world needs now

I had yet ANOTHER grandmother funeral dream last night - and just like the previous one, she was up and walking around at her funeral. Uhhh...creepy. Also second dream in a row involving Mom's family where I just sort of accepted their existence and didnt feel traumatized.

Yoga class was packed last night due to the influx of Newly Resolved Yoga go-er's of 2009. I actually really prefer totally full classes. In the same way that I write better at Paris on the Platte when its really busy and I'm surrounded by loads of people, loud music, and action. For whatever reason overstimulation really helps me stream line my focus. Thus, packed class = amazing focus.

I had an experience that I havent had in awhile where I could actually settle and breathe into the feelings of stretch and pull and stick with whatever pose it was, instead of breaking the pose. I was sweating like a ridiculous amount too. Also a good feeling. Attempted Wheel and got farther than I'd thought I would. Got Crow too, for a micro breath :) I've been deciding to really explore the balance poses these days.

I have previously avidly avoided and been repulsed by the idea of the show Nip Tuck. But the preview for this season: YOU MUST WATCH THIS was so amazing that it sucked me in and I was compelled to watch it last night.

No, seriously. Watch this. WHO DIRECTED THIS?!?!? It is so fucking smart and amazing:

A few things about this show:

1. I find it quite amazing/ironic/strange that Kanye West's song Flashing Lights is the song promoting this season of Nip Tuck (about plastic surgery) when his mother recently died during a plastic surgery operation

2. The music on this show = amazing

3. Reminds me of 6 Feet Under

4. I kind of love it

Work is getting exceedingly busy. Like, so busy that I could easily work 100+ hour weeks and still have more work than I could handle. Also am taking two classes next week so i can work on a HUGE Federal drug case: Electronic filing for Federal court & Notary Ethics.
