Hello from Texas (random thoughts)
Here I am in Texas, posting from an internet cafe. I'm having a great time. I've met some amazing people, and my hostess has been absolutely wonderful. The sands of time seem to be slipping between my fingers very quickly, however.
The heat here is stifling. It made me a bit sick on Saturday, and I felt very much like an anchor as people were trying to show me around. Staying hydrated is a priority at all times, but can be very difficult, due to the heat just totally leaving you feeling like you're stomach is full.
I'm going to be so busy when I get back to Detroit. I have only a couple weeks before GenCon.
Kate is back from Columbia alive and well. I slept much better last night than I have since she left. I very much was worried about her in the extreme.
Not a lot more to say. Will probably not post again until I'm back in town. Ciao!
