I applaud what you do for your community. I wish there were more people like you.
In 2004, I volunteered for John Kerry and now I am volunteering for Obama. I have been phone banking and trying to move the undecideds into the Obama column. I may have to knock on doors again, if that is what they tell me they need. I hated doing it, but it is too important to leave to chance.
Thank you for such a well thought out, organized discussion of the issues. I find myself having to talk to a lot of ignorant people who are just getting the sound bites, or seeing the glossy pics of Palin holding her baby on about 15 magazines in the grocery store.
I just don't understand people, but I may use some of your arguments as I try to sway people to the Obama side, if you don't mind.
See, you are an activist and a community organizer someplace in the country, but your discussion and pointing out the quoted information may help democracy in my little community.
