I had just sat down to write a post about how lucky I felt to be here when we had our second middle-of-the-night fire alarm in two nights. People, PLEASE, stop burning popcorn after midnight! You may be hungry, but it's not worth it if you can't execute it properly. If you keep this up you shall soon be executed yourself.
At any rate, feelin lucky at the moment. Lucky that I can fire things in kilns and dance in a studio with two gorgeous walls of windows and a wall of mirrors to reflect the spectacular view of the mountains. Lucky that I have such talented friends and entry mates who would take care of me whenever I need it. Lucky to have someone to walk me home when I'm tired. "You are my new chocolate," explained Tanya tonight. "Usually I need chocolate, now I just need you guys." So yeah, Williams, and all the places/people that encompasses, you are my new chocolate.
