A bit of procrastination-induced listing never hurt anyone, right?

1) I am in charge of Vanilla Ice's dressing room. This means buying his requested food, and setting up refreshments and privacy curtains. (It also means a free concert pass, incidentally -- and hopefully a t-shirt for proof?)

2) Williams has this policy of never canceling class. I mean literally, an email from the dean today explained that while administrative offices are closed, classes are, in accordance with "usual practice" still in session unless the professor emails otherwise. This is not to be confused with our other "usual practice" of canceling classes for Williams-specific holidays, which is why classes are canceled for Friday in celebration of the big ski races taking place. I shan't complain too much though, since one of my favorite things in the world is Mountain Day, the fall semester equivalent of Winter Carnival, and which can most accurately be described as a good weather snow day.

3) Where's the mob when you need it?? I was trying to fall asleep last night, and I started to feel really creeped out -- that feeling that something is horribly wrong. It was quiet... too quiet.... And then I realized, Williamstown lacks the mob-affiliated road services that are a staple of my home town. I'm not exaggerating that it scared me to have a heavy snow storm and not hear plows rumbling by every hour. I'm astounded, though, I have yet to see or hear one road plow! How does one get anything done without a friendly municipal mafia?
