Heh, thought I lost this stupid thing for a while. Aah, not like I need the old man getting on my case for more reasons.

Well, I can't explain it much yet, but what if it was some trick X that was inside the pages that just sent information from what you write to the rest of the journals?

You can't just say it's magic because you can't explain it. A trick, some sort of mechanism that's inside all the pages in the book.
